This album is a collection of songs written between 2000-2008, here remastered and released for the first time in 2022. The central focus is on the animal self forced to reside inside this machinic life. This music comes from a time of great suffering and confusion for me, as I wrestled with the agonistic relationship humans have created for themselves and others. I don't waste time thinking I am above it, I am down in it. Way down. I do try to help as many as I can on the way.

If you find yourself relating to these songs, all I can say is get help, you aren't alone, and it gets better. Keep living your artful life and striving. As Freddie Mercury says, "yeah, we keep on trying."

***A word about revisions made to album art after initial release: I was wrong about the source of my AI art and it having the potential to hurt living artists and the estates of artists of the past. I apologize for, and own this decision. I held an opinion that I was replicating art of the past so therefore no current artists were being hurt. Given the many uses for AI I was very excited about interacting with it. I no longer believe that to be the case. I am replacing all AI art with photographs I took and edited on my own, and until I can earn enough doing this to hire a local artist, this will be the path I take.
